What happens to your email address when you sign up.

Who’s responsible

Inverted Works Ltd is the controller of any personal data you give me through this site. I’m Jacob Bytom, and the emails come from me. For anything about your data, email hello@jacobbytom.com.

Two separate lists

You can sign up for my emails, where I share examples of how I use AI and software in my businesses, or for updates about my book, BUILD DON’T RENT. They’re separate lists. Signing up for one doesn’t add you to the other.

What happens when you sign up

Both sign-up pages are hosted by MailerLite, the email service I use. MailerLite handles your email address and the record of your sign-up and consent, so it can add you to the list you chose, send you the emails you asked for and unsubscribe you when you ask. I do this with your consent.

Unsubscribing

You can unsubscribe any time, using the link in any of my emails or by emailing me. After you unsubscribe, I keep only the limited record needed to make sure you’re not emailed again.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@jacobbytom.com. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
